It’s like an opportunity that comes knocking your door and to grab this early opportunity, you need to be well prepared, obviously.

Advance Preparation
Starting early is the key. Do enquire from seniors and alumni about the interview process and start working around it. Generally, the interview process for freshers includes aptitude tests, technical round and then group discussion or face to face round. Try to work for each test adequately because they have equal weightage. Aptitude tests are for testing your reasoning skills and they are counted for sure. So, simply do your homework before the interview by trying to solve some online aptitude tests. This will help you know where you stand and working to improve it still further.

Organization Research – Before the interview is conducted, you would be made aware by the college about the company’s participating in the drive. So, a good idea is to visit their websites have a basic understanding about the company, its products services and milestones.

Interview Etiquette – A lot of help is available online already about interview etiquette or manners. Run yourself through these tips so you know how to carry and present yourself at the interview. This includes body language, dressing sense, attitude and manners.

Answer Bank – Some of the interview questions asked in the F2F round include telling about yourself, strengths, weaknesses and more. Make a list of some commonly asked questions and have some smart answers ready, so that when you’re asked you don’t tend to fumble or go blank.

Ask Questions – If given an opportunity to ask any questions, its always a good idea to ask one. It could be about the growth plans of the company as in its future plans, about the team and technology as well.

Though its natural to get nervous, as it would be your very first interview experiences, you need to be confident and excellent with your communication skills. Preparing in advance will surely add up to your confidence levels. Work for it in advance and the results should work out in your favour.
