Overview
The IoT, Cyber Security including Blockchain Technology is a four-year Undergraduate program, which was established in 2022 with current intake 60 students. This department is derived branch from computer science & engineering, by focusing on educating students in both the theoretical foundations and practical applications which is related in designing innovation and information technology.
The Department focuses on developing standards, protocols, and frameworks for secure communication and data exchange among IoT devices. The Cyber Security aim is to equip students with developing robust security measures, protocols, and technologies to safeguard critical infrastructure, networks, and information assets from the intruder’s (attackers). Since all devices are connected to internet, these devices can range in huge. So the data is access in securely from authorized persons/users, the Blockchain provides flexibility. The potential applications of blockchain beyond cryptocurrencies, such as supply chain management, healthcare, finance and identity management.
