Dr.M.Karthikeyan

Brief Profile

Dr. M. Karthikeyan is currently working as a Professor and HOD in the Department of Robotics and Automation.
He started his teaching career as a lecturer in the year 1993 and has 31 years of teaching, which includes Head of Institution, Professor, Controller of Examinations under Autonomous Scheme, and research experience, serving three reputed engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu and presently in Bengaluru. He completed his Ph.D. in the field of Mechanical Engineering at Bharathiyar University, Tamil Nadu during the year 2002.
He obtained his B.E. Mechanical Engineering Degree in 1990 from the Government College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu. M.E. Degree, specialization in Production Engineering in 1993 from Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu. He has published 23 research papers (5 in international Journal, 5 in international Conference, 7 in National Conferences)
He has organized and conducted 2 International Conferences, 2 National Conferences, 10 – workshops, 15 Seminars, 5 FDPs, Orientation Programs, 20 Expert lecturers, and industrial visits. He has obtained funding from Anna University, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST), Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy to conduct various Faculty Development Programme (FDP), Undergraduate project, etc. He has guided 50 + Undergraduate and 5 Postgraduate academic project works and guided one Ph.D. student.
He has visited Malaysia, and Singapore to deliver technical lectures and participated in International Conferences.
He is an active Life member of various technical societies such as
• Life member in the Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE).
• Life member in Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering (IIIE).
• Member of Institution of Engineers (IE)
