Dr. R. Sunitha

Brief Profile

Dr.Sunitha R received her BE in Electronics & Communication Engg from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and M-Tech in Electronics Engineering from BMS College of Engineering Bangalore and PhD from VTU, Belgavi. She joined RRCE in August 2011 as Assistant Professor in ECE Department, where she has been an Associate Professor since July 2022, Bangalore. Prior to joining with RRCE, she worked as Assistant Professor in PESIT, Bangalore. Her area of interest includes Image processing, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Communication and networks, Signal Processing. She has numerous publications in national, international conferences and Journals. She is fellow of IETE and IAENG.She completed AICTE RPS, Amount sanctioned 1.5 Lakhs and to conduct International Seminar.Ref. No:70282/RFID/SG/POL-1/2013-14, dated:22/10/2013.

She held various Responsibilities at RRCE:-

1. Worked as Organizer, Convener and coordinator for FDPs, SDPs, Seminars, Workshops.

2. Chairperson for WE and SHE Committee

3. Member for various committee

4. Department Placement coordinator

5. NBA /NAAC Coordinator

6. Selected UG project for KSCST for final

7. Coordinator for UTP-Malaysia Familiarization Programme (July 2022)
