Brief Profile

Dr. S.M.Vijaya obtained B.E during 1990 in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Gulbarga University & M.Tech during
2005 in Applied Electronics from SDU university, Chennai and earned Ph.D in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, in the field of IMAGE PROCESSING, VLSI. Presently she is working as Associate Professor in Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, Bengaluru. She worked as Head of the Department of ECE around one year.She has altogether 21 years of Teaching experience. She has published international journal papers& National Conference papers, among 4 are Scopus index papers published 2 patents. She arranged Industrial visits for students at prestigious organisations like ISRO, BEL, BHEL. She teaches subjects both for UG & PG students. She has
guided around 20 projects for UG & 8 for PG. Her area of interest is VLSI, SIGNAL PROCESSING, IMAGE PROCESSING. She is lab in charge of HDL and VLSI. She worked as session chair in International Conference. Since 2012 to 2015 headed Hostel and Canteen committee. She is now in student counselling committee. Worked as NBA & NAAC coordinator. Representing RRCE as CICC chairperson to VTU,Belagavi. She worked as organizing secretary for national conference ACT-12 at RRCE. She is member of professional bodies:ISTE,IETE.
