Brief Profile

Dr. Satheesha V has been dedicatedly discharging his responsibilities to the best of his capabilities in the position of Associate Professor, in Department of Robotics and Automation. He earned his B.E in Automobile Engineering from PES College of Engineering, Mandya and M.E in Thermal science and Engineering from UVCE, Bengaluru. He has been awarded Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering in the research area of Heat transfer and Fluid flow from Bangalore University under the guidance of Dr. B. K. Muralidhara, Professor (Retd.), UVCE, Bengaluru in March-2019.
Previously he worked 2 years as Assistant Professor in PES University, Bengaluru. He has total 13 years of teaching experience and 1 year as Project Assistant in Spray and Droplets Dynamics laboratory, Aerospace Department, IISc, Bengaluru. He has expert knowledge in Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Modern Mobility and Automotive Mechanics. His research areas are jet impingement heat transfer, helical coil heat exchanger and solar flat plate collector. He has presented 07 research papers in International Conferences and published 07 papers in peer reviewed International Journals and given one invited lecture at BNMIT, Bengaluru. He has got NPTEL certificate of appreciation for translating the course offered by IITKGP in Kannada language. Also coordinated AICTE Training And Learning (ATAL) Academy sponsored Faculty Development Programme. He has taken initiative to setup TOYOTA Center of Excellence, Center for Research on Automated Machining and Robotics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics laboratory in the Department of Robotics and Automation. He is handling various responsibilities in the college level as NAAC IQAC member, NBA coordinator and Autonomous coordinator.
