5 Days FDP on Design of Machine Elements
On day 1 Mrs. N L Shanthala explained about Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering Design.
On day 2 Dr. Vivek Bhandarkar V N highlighted Factors influencing machine design followed by ,afternoon session handled by Prof. Nithesh Bhaskar N who emphasized Principle stresses for various load combinations.
On day 3 Prof. Sanketh S elaborated Principle stresses for various load combinations & Design of solid and hollow shafts & Couplings.
On day 4 Design of temporary and permanent joints was highlighted in the morning session by Prof . Vishwanath B. R and sanketh
On day 5 Prof . K. M. Kiran Kumar and Prof Ranganath explained about Design of threaded fasteners and power screws and design of bearings and the FDP was ended with valedictory function.
