Essay writing and slogan writing competition:
An essay writing and slogan writing competition was organized by Department of MCA, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering on the topic “Anti ragging” to educate students about anti-ragging. Around 100 participants have taken part in this event. The competition aimed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of ragging and to encourage students to voice their opinions against this menace.
Participants were invited to submit essays focusing on the topic of ragging, its impact on students’ mental and emotional well-being, and the measures that can be taken to prevent it. The essays were evaluated based on clarity of thought, creativity, and the depth of analysis.
The slogan writing segment encouraged participants to craft concise and impactful slogans that conveyed strong messages against ragging. These slogans were meant to resonate with students and raise awareness about the importance of eradicating ragging from educational institutions.
