Department of Mechanical Engineering, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering is associated with Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. established Centre of Excellence under corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The main objectives of the Centre of Excellence are:
Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. established the Centre of Excellence for better exposure in the field of Automobiles to the students.
To expose students to the Automobile industry through various programs/ training activities and providing access to video manuals.
To provide access to the latest cutting-edge technology in the field of automobiles.
Major Equipment/ Components at the RRCE-Toyota Excellence Centre
As a part of this following facilities are installed.
• Toyota complete driveline with Engine (ETIOS), Gearbox, Propeller shaft, and rear axle. (for demonstration).
• Engine with dismantling stand with 360 degrees rotating with Gray and Castor wheels with brakes. (for assembling and dismantling).
• Gearbox with dismantling stand with 360 degrees rotating with Gray and Castor wheels with brakes. (for assembling and dismantling).
• Special tools for assembly and disassembly of Toyota Engine and Gearbox.
Purpose:
Toyota Excellence Centre in our institution for enhancing the professional skills of our students to meet current industry requirements.
