With the support of Management, Principal, HOD-Mech, Faculties, the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the webinar “New Education Policy (NEP) – 2020 on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2020 Celebrations” on Thursday , 5th Sept. 2020, from 01.30 p.m to 2:30 p.m
The resource person is Dr. R. Shankara Reddy, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, Bangalore-74.
Dr. Vishwanath K C, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, welcomes the resource person and introduce the speaker to the participants.
There was an overwhelming response from participants around 150+ participants registered for this program, which includes more number of faculties from various colleges.
Dr. R. Shankara Reddy is currently working as Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering since 2009. His professional experience in the field of academics and research is 21 years, out of which more than 18 years he has worked as HOD, Mech. Engg. in some of the reputed Institutions in Bengaluru and Pune. His expertise is primarily in the characterization of composites, tribology, heat treatment, machinability, nanocomposites, FEM etc…
He has briefed about the NEP-2020, Recognizing, Identifying, and Strengthening the unique capabilities of each student, Promoting each student’s holistic development in both academic and non-academic spheres. Achieving Foundational Literacy and Numeracy in all students by Grade 3.
More number of participants raise the questions with the expert and clear their doubts. Dr.M.Karthikeyan, Professor has given the vote of thanks and concluded the webinar.
