Scholarship
To apply for renewal immediately for Centrally Sponsored Post Matrix Scholarship for SC students for proper and timely release of scholarship. The Central share is directly paid into the accounts of the students. The student can apply for renewal Scholarship online on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in. Link to the Portal is also provided on the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, i.e. www.minorityaffairs.gov.in and strict timelines are being followed as provided in the scheme guidelines.
The following are the steps for renewal in the NSP portal:
Step 1:Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.
Step 2:Under the ‘Login’ button, a drop-down list will appear that displays the ‘Fresh’ and ‘Renewal’ options for subsequent academic years.
Step 3:Select the ‘Renewal’ option for the academic year you want to apply for.
Step 4:A login page will open. Enter the application ID (same as the last year’s registration ID), password and captcha to login successfully.
Step 5:After successful login, proceed to make the renewal application by filling in all required details (as specified).
Step 6:Upload all the supporting documents.
Step 7:Finally, submit the application.
In case of completion of course, you cannot apply for renewal. Students eligible for renewal are advised not to apply in the fresh category as duplicate applications will be rejected by NSP. If you want to apply for Fresh, withdraw your Renewal Application from NSP.
